Naim Secure Music Storage

All NaimNet Music Servers have two internal hard drives.

Music collections are built up on one drive together with the database. The second drive will carry out a daily backup capturing any change that has occurred since the previous back up - new music additions or any deletions. By default this backup occurs at 03.00 hrs every morning, however your installer can change this time if preferred.

In the event of either the main drive or the backup drive failing, the machine becomes non-operational. The remaining functioning drive is then used to restore the original music collection and database on a new set of drives when any service work is carried out.

(Please be aware that as playlists are really only a set of queued PLAY instructions it is not possible to backup or restore playlists at this time)
