NaimNet is a multi-room audio distribution system developed by Naim Audio. Ethernet connected, using a standard domestic PC network, NaimNet can be easily controlled using a wide range of convenient devices according to personal taste and requirements. The system consists of of high fidelity multi-room products, including music servers, tuners and room amplifiers, which are connected via StreamNet technology.
The NaimNet range of products has been designed to cater for the specific requirements of the custom installation market, while retaining the hallmark of Naim's true high fidelity electronics.
NaimNet was first conceived by Naim Audio over 5 years ago during exploratory blue sky research by Naim Audio engineers. They wanted to create a true high end music server that could contain catalogued music and would distribute music throughout the home. The quest for high fidelity from such a device led them to consider using IP-based technology as this would enable the distribution of uncompressed audio – a prerequisite for true high fidelity multi-room.
Naim has a unique relationship with NetStreams Inc. of Austin, Texas. NaimNet products make use of the company’s IP-based 'StreamNet' technology, which allows them to link up and stream audio between one another. The technology also means that NaimNet products are easily integrated within whole home control systems and can interface easily with lighting, heating and security systems. There is also no limit to the size of the system, which is easily scalable. A small penthouse apartment can be equipped as cost-effectively as a palatial mansion, meaning that customer requirements are catered for much more easily. NetStreams is the first of its kind in the custom installation sphere and marks a change in direction for the industry.

Most recently Naim announced its exclusive partnership with Bentley Motors to develop the finest in-car audio system available. The Naim for Bentley system, which features the world's most powerful production amplifier is available across all Bentley models.
