NS03 Music Server

The Naim NS03 is a NaimNet / DigiLinX enabled 6-Stream Music Server with four high quality local audio outputs and touch screen control.

NS03 offers bit-perfect transfer from CD to secure hard disc storage with automatic backup. Music is easily selected with the Naim Extended Music Database and Complex Search facility. Network Scanning is available with local playback or NaimNet streaming of content from any network connected computer

The Naim NS03 Music Server has full NaimNet / StreamNet capability with four independent audio outputs on the rear panel for local playback.

The NS03 also has a colour LCD touch screen front panel. This gives control in two ways.

The first is when used in a NaimNet system: the front panel of the NS03 gives full room control as would any other suitable web based control screen such as TouchLinX or a web browser. Additional interfaces can also control the same room in addition to the front panel of the NS03.

The second is when the NS03 is being used as a local player: the front panel touch screen gives full control of the local outputs and allows detailed searching and playlist management.

The NS03 therefore has 3 main applications: -

• As a NaimNet-connected multi-room server, delivering up to 6 independent streams and full room control from the front panel.
• As a Matrix Switch-connected multi-room server, providing front-panel control of any of the outputs, in addition to control provided by the RS232 multi-room system. This is ideal when the multi-room system is relatively simple and does not permit viewing of the cover art and metadata.
• As a versatile locally-connected HiFi player, offering the user full control from its front panel.
