NNP02-DC Compact Audiophile NaimNet-enabled Room Amplifier with wide range DC Power Supply

                The NaimNet NNP02-DC is a special DC power input version of the NNP02. It is a 90W per channel power amplifier, room controller, local input processor, and streaming source, built into a compact enclosure for concealing within ceiling voids or cupboards.

DC input voltages from 9V to 33V can be used ensuring satisfactory operation in Marine and Automotive applications.

NNP02-DC can also be installed to meet stringent safety requirements in wet areas - for example amplifiers can be safely located in the pump room of a swimming pool complex, or bathrooms, and powered from a remote DC power supply.

Some territories also require that inaccessible devices are not connected directly to the mains power supply without individual switched and fused spurs: NNP02-DC can be used in these situations with a remote mains connected supply.

The operating voltage range includes 28V, ensuring direct compatibility with DigiLinX DC power supplies. One channel of a DigiLinX PL750 will power one NNP02-DC.

Functionally the NNP02-DC is identical with the NNP02. The NaimNet NNP02-DC is fully compatible with NaimNet and DigiLinX Ethernet connected devices, which allows for distribution and control of both network connected and local sources without any quality compromise as there is no digital compression used in the media transport.

Any StreamNet network-connected source is available for playing and control by the NNP02-DC - all sources can be available in all rooms or can be easily restricted for privacy by the installer.

5 local sources (3 analogue and 2 digital) can be selected for local play, and can also be streamed to other rooms without any quality compromise - ideal for local music players, portable devices, or television. This also allows for the NNP02-DC to be incorporated within a HiFi system and to stream sources within that system to other rooms.

Standard loudspeaker outputs are supplemented by line level outputs, both variable - ideal for subwoofers, and fixed - ideal for integration within an A/V system feeding an A/V controller.

A wide range of user interfaces can be used to control NNP02-DC and the selected sources. An internal web server delivers intuitive control and feedback to a number of devices including the DigiLinX touch screens, NaimNet Tablet, and even any PC, PDA, or Mobile phone which is capable of running an Adobe Flash player.

The NaimNet user interface gives user selection of sources and control functions for the sources, as well as full control of the room amplifier.

Simple systems integration means that the user interface can easily be used to control lighting, view security cameras, control heating and a whole range of other possibilities.

Simplified user control is also provided by DigiLinX Keypads connected by a standard DigiLinX-compatible EIM port connection.
